Energy drinks such as Red Bull, Burn or Monster, for their very high levels of stimulants such as caffeine (80 mg per can) and especially taurine (1000 mg per can), could even be more harmful and dangerous than any other drink, whereas, moreover, in the face of a not very responsible use, the harmless substances they contain are largely unnecessary to the organism increasing the chances of developing short and long-term health problems.
Their excessive intake can cause from "mild" symptoms such as tachycardia, dizziness to severe heart failure, as a result of which several people who had in common the mere fact of being habitual consumers of such drinks, lost their lives: an example would seem to be the case of Anais F., a 14-year-old American girl, who died of a heart attack after drinking two cans of Monster Energy (which apparently contains an amount of caffeine equivalent to that of 6 cans of Coca Cola), in 2012.
They are often consumed mixed with spirits and, combining them, according to doctors, the physical and psychological side effects you can experience became much more intense than if you drank alcohol on its own: heart palpitations, problems sleeping, feeling tense or agitated, panic attacks... drinking energy drinks with alcohol can trick your brain and lead to a state researchers have called ‘wide awake drunk’: you can stay awake longer and drink more alcohol.
Caffeine, slowing down the effect of alcohol on the body, does not make you feel that you have reached the limit pushing to an unheard of consumption until the symptoms mentioned, which can also be lethal.
The euphoria, which the combination of caffeine, sugar, taurine and alcohol generates, leads people to no longer feel any fear, also pushing them to commit extreme and very dangerous acts thanks to the sense of invulnerability that pervades them at that time.
Conspiracy theorists argue that the ignorance of consumers or those who prepare these cocktails of alcohol mixed with energy drinks and the little information about the risks related to the intake of these drinks is wanted by the corporations of Big Soda: the multinationals in question should report clearer on the cans or bottles the risks in which you can incur by consuming these drinks created in the laboratory with the specific aim of generating dependency in people so that they are driven to always drink a larger amount.

However, the biggest energy drink conspiracy in recent years is about Monster Energy Drink and its growing popularity because, in a video that went viral on Facebook and Youtube, an unidentified woman recites a series of conspiracy theories about this drink: everything in the logo, slogan, and packaging is a shout-out to the Devil.
At the centre of her entire thesis there is the "M" logo itself: what may appear to be a monstrous claw that, from the inside, rips the can, actually are supposed to be in the shape of the Hebrew letter "Vav", which stands for 6. There are three in a row, so that's 666, the Number of the Beast.
Under investigation also the subliminal message of the slogan "Unleash the Beast" and the graphic choice of the cross on the O of Monster that going upside-down when you drink it, would symbolize the Antichrist.
According to the woman, the very fact of drinking from the can by overturning the cross would be part of a ritual of witchcraft: “Bottoms up, and the Devil laughs,” -she says- “Something to think about.”
At the basis of his theory there is the hypothesis that the worshipers of Satan in the world are numerous, they have infiltrated large companies for unknown reasons, and they try to use their wealth and their power to unnecessarily infuse benign everyday objects with encoded signals.
Although, in reality, the Number of the Beast in Hebrew it's written as "six hundred and sixty-six" and then represented by the letters "samech resh tav vav" and not by "vav vav vav" (six six six) and the barred "o" may be traced back to the pre-Christian Greek character "phi", those who share the idea of the Evil One's involvement are numerous.
"Torches blazed and sacred chants were praised
As they start to cry hands held to the sky
In the night the fires burning bright
The ritual has begun Satan's work is done
Six six six the number of the beastSacrifice is going on tonight
This can't go on I must inform the law
Can this still be real or some crazy dream
But I feel drawn towards the chanting hordes
They seem to mesmerize me can't avoid their eyes?
Six six six the number of the Beast
Six six six the one for you and meI'm coming back I will return
And I'll possess your body and I'll make you burn
I have the fire I have the force
I have the power to make my evil take it's course"-Iron Maiden "The Number Of The Beast"
